Dinosaurs are mythical creatures... apparently

While assisting the teacher of a year 7 form (11-12 years old) I was waiting outside with the children talking about the game we were going to play later (headbands/ 20 questions)

Me: "So we're all going to be mythical creatures and guess who we are by asking questions"

Child 1: "oh, like mermaids and unicorns?"

Child 2: "yeah or a dinosaur"

Me: "Dinosaurs were real"

Child 1: "Miss were dinosaurs real?"

Me: "yes, dinosaurs were real"

Needless to say everyone loved the game, and a very funny morning.
